Learning points from lesson 4 on CSS

I learnt basically CSS in the lesson. Mr Cheong asked us to work on the CSS challenge. Unfortunately, there was no time for hand's on in the lab as the lesson was delayed by fire drill. I couldn't understand a few things as there were not sufficient time to explain, but after I watched the video, I understood. CSS is basically something to spice up the websites and works with the HTML. It can be done in the notepad, just like the HTML. CSS is harder than HTML in my opinion as there is more things to remember in CSS than HTML, but it is still better than the horrible C++.
The CSS challenge was bit of not fun at all as I could only open the webpage on my computer, but not on the school's. I hope that Mr Cheong can open in his computer, so not much points will be lost.

Learning Points from lesson 3

Basically, I learnt HTML and the standard format in lesson 3 taught by Mr Cheong. The assignment, i must say, was pretty tough and I had quite a bit of trouble trying to figure out the codings. But in the end, thaks to help from my father, I managed to solve it. Compare HTML with C++, it is so much more easier! The standard format is pretty much the same, compared to C++ which have billions and thrillions of codings.
The C++ taught by Mr Koh was so confusing that I had trouble with it from the start to finish. But I understood HTML after only a few minutes. The project was difficult, so I will appreciate that Mr Cheong give easier assignments next time.
The codings of HTML is much easier compared to C++, but I hope Mr Cheong can teach us more as it goes on.

Learning points from lesson 2

I think that what I've learn in the second lesson, web 2.0, was quite interesting. I did not even know that there was a term called web 2.0 before the lesson. Nor did I ever know web 1.0. I only know that there is internet and not other terms or versions. Web 2.0 allows us to connect with each other more freely as we are able to post our thoughts onto the web, that makes us readers able to read from different people's perspective.
Up until now, I think web new media is better than C++, as I knew nothing about C++ even after a whole term, but I manged understand web 2.0 after only one lesson. Web 2.0 may have its goods and bads. For example, the internet users may post racsist comments on other people's blog, making them fell uncomfortable. But, in web 1.0, where peolple only can read what the owner writes and not comment, there will not be such rascist comments.
I really hope that web 3.0 will arrive earlier as I would prefer other's to comment on my blog. A video of comparison for you to enjoy:
